The Gloversville hospital filed a certificate of need application with the stater Health Department earlier this month seeking approval forthe $3.1 millioh plan. At about the same time, U.S. Rep. Paul Tonki and Sen. Charles Schumer introduced appropriations billzs in their respective housesseeking $1 milliomn to help finance the project.
